Into The WildBased on a true story, Into The Wild tells of Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsch) abandoning his promising future after graduating from university as top student and athlete. Donating his entire savings account to charity, he decides to hitchhike to Alaska and discover adventure.

A wonderfully spectacular film it takes us from the South Dakota wheat fields, across the rapids of the Colorado River, on to Mexico, the Californian desert and the snowy wastes of Alaska.

Along the way he meets many interesting people who try to give Christopher lessons in life. Screen writer and director Sean Penn has chosen gifted actors to flesh out these secondary characters. A haunting and moving experience.
